Registration Office - Hunters Lodge Hotel is the closest hotel to the famous Registration Office. Located round the corner of Central Avenue, we are within a short walk.
Anvil Hall - We are one of the closest Hotels to Anvil Hall, within a short walk.
Old Blacksmiths Shop - approximately 5 minutes drive away
Gretna Hall Blacksmiths - approximately 5 minutes drive away
Mill Forge - approximately 4 miles away (10 minutes drive)

Step 3 - Select the type of ceremony - civil or religious
Step 4 - Organise the Official Documents (M10 marriage forms .pdf download)

These forms should be completed and returned to the Gretna Registration Office, Central Avenue, Gretna, together with fees, up to 3 months and no later than 15 days prior to your wedding.

Step 5 - Your wedding day service - we pride ourselves in giving a personal service for your special day.  We can arrange and advise you on local facilities available for your big day such as photography, Rolls Royce, horse and carriage, video, kilts, pipers, florists, hairdressers, wedding cakes, and all the 101 things to make your special day come true.
Step 6 - Your wedding reception - calculate how many guests will be attending your wedding meal.  Weddings and private functions, large or small are catered for in one of our two tartan carpeted function rooms, seating for up to 60 guests.
Step 7 - Accommodation - book your accommodation.  we have 2 four poster bridal suites and they can be viewed on our virtual tour.
Step 8 - Wedding Calculator - work out a figure of what your wedding will cost you.

To secure a wedding function and accommodation, please note that a deposit is required to secure the booking.  Deposits paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.  We recommend that an insurance policy be taken out to secure your wedding.
