Terms & Conditions


Accommodation: 

All deposits are pre-payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. 


Where one person books multiple rooms with a deposit, it is the responsibility of that person to pay all charges resulting in cancellation or a guest's non-arrival. 


Rooms are available from lunchtime on the day of arrival (2pm). The hotel will not guarantee an earlier check-in time. 


Rooms are to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure – late check-out will result in additional charges. 


Upon check-in, a credit/debit card will be required, payment will be taken from this card in the event of non-payment of the account or for any loss or damages to the hotel. 


Booking of accommodation on certain dates (deemed by Hunters Lodge Hotel) must be paid in full at time of booking. 


The hotel reserves the right to charge full room tariff should we not be able to re-sell the room due to any of the following: 


Breakages rendering the room incomplete to resell to another guest Specialist room cleaning including carpet shampooing required. 


If your arrival time is expected to be after 8pm then you must pre-arrange this with the hotel. Failure to notify us may result in cancellation of your booking. 


Weddings & Functions: 

Bookings will only be confirmed when the deposit has been received. 


All deposits and pre-payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. 


Pre-orders, table plans and full payment are required 21 days prior to arrival (special terms applicable for Valentine’s Day and 31st December).


Should your final guest numbers not reach the provisionally booked amount, we reserve the right to alter the function room chosen. 


We recommend that an insurance policy be taken out to cover your wedding, and details can be found on www.weddingplaninsurance.co.uk 


Cancellations

All cancellations must be received in writing, if you do not receive confirmation of a cancellation within 7 days of cancelling then please contact the hotel. 


Bedrooms: 

48 hours or more before arrival – loss of deposit paid 

Less than 48 hours before arrival – payment in full 


Functions and Group Bookings: 

21 days or more before arrival – loss of deposit paid 

Less than 21 days prior to the arrival – Payment in Full 


The hotel may cancel the reservation if it has to close due to circumstances beyond its control or if the booking may prejudice the reputation or cause damage to the hotel. In such an event all deposits and payments will be refunded in full but with no further liability. 


Miscellaneous

We reserve the right to alter the hotel charges. However, a minimum of 6 months notice will be given. 


Only food and beverages purchased from the hotel may be consumed on the premises and we do not operate a corkage facility. 


Any loss or damage to hotel property will be charged in full. The hotel reserves the right to automatically deduct the required amount from the card and send a written receipt. 


Cheques will only be accepted with a banker’s card and up to the guaranteed limit. 


Paying a deposit accepts these terms and conditions.
